Ivanka Trump, President Trump’s daughter and a White House senior adviser, lauded her father’s economy and said the majority of Americans ideologically believe differently than Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., in an interview with Fox News host Steve Hilton.
“You’ve got people who will see that offer from the Democrats, from the progressive Democrats, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: ‘Here’s the Green New Deal, here’s the guarantee of a job,’ and think, ‘yeah, that’s what I want, it’s that simple.’ What do you say to those people?” Hilton asked Ivanka Trump in the interview set to air in full on Sunday.
“I don’t think most Americans, in their heart, want to be given something. I’ve spent a lot of time traveling around this country over the last 4 years. People want to work for what they get,” Trump told Hilton. “So, I think that this idea of a guaranteed minimum is not something most people want. They want the ability to be able to secure a job. They want the ability to live in a country where’s there’s the potential for upward mobility.”

Call her Princess Barbie if you want, but I have always heard that Ivanka is a hard worker. She enjoys the business world.
Maybe over time, Ivanka will be less Liberal.

I’ve been thinking about Hope/confidence lately. I think people may fear starving or not being able to pay the rent, but covering those things doesn’t give them hope. You hope for the next raise, or for the next vacation, or the thing your kid is going to do that you will be proud of. You need freedom and economic prospects to make those things take flight. The full employment we have now is a reflection that employers think better opportunities are ahead. The lack of job creation under Obama reflected the opposite.
I love it that we are now in a phase where ambitious people can make plans and make good things happen. Red hat tip to President Trump!

If you look closely at Ivanka and AOC, you can really appreciate the fact that Ivanka was raised by a family that believes in hard work and making your own opportunities. AOC, on the other hand, appears to be a spoiled brat who was given everything she wanted. I doubt that AOC ever heard the word “no “ growing up.
One positive thing you can say about the Soviet Union is that everyone had a job. In fact, if you didn’t work, they shot you. The guaranteed minimum wage was a loaf of bread. But upward mobility was unheard of unless you worked in government.
AOC is now saying every household will be required to have chickens. Chickens will eat the table scraps, produce eggs, meat and fertilizer. We won’t need to make fertilizer out of oil anymore.
"Having a job" is not the same as "working." Just ask anyone who's ever held a government job.
"We pretend to work, and they pretend to pay us," they said in the good old days of the Soviet Union.
Ah, the democrat version of “a chicken in every pot”, except the pot in this case is government housing not much better than a pot. How progressive having to shovel chicken $#!+ off your living room floor every night.
Does she keep chickens in her apartment in the Bronx or in her luxury apartment in D.C.?
They have spent the billionaire money many times over already in their platform. Plus the 2.3 trillion the billionaire’s have is a one off. Once it’s gone then what? They are so dumb.
Interesting to see Sherrod Brown’s stealth Presidential campaign with the slogan ‘Dignity in Work’ (Rich Lowry called Brown a ‘moderate’ Ugh!)

Both parties seem to want to settle normal people’s lives for them.
Since Ivanka is a bit liberal on some issue. I am prefering Lara Trump for 2024. Otherwise I am open to Eric Trump. If not them then I think we have to find another outsider to carry the mantel in the next five years.
