Mig 21 has been around since the 50s. Surprised India using it for frontline aircraft.I would think they are more of a tripwire than anything else.

What’s surprising is where were the 4 SU30MKIs that were on scene? Why did they not take out the pak fighters? Perhaps it was ground missiles that got the Indian 21?
