OMG, Biden is white , male, and “cisgender” . He isn’t a member of any grievance group.
The way things are going, Democrats proudly tout their status in an aggrieved minority group. What group can Joe claim membership in?
If Democratic primary voters around the country were truly fired up for some of that hot new socialist goodness, there are plenty of options already available. Of course, the deluge of new, far left candidates might be precisely why Biden is out in the lead. He’s currently getting a little more than 30% support, while the newer faces are mostly in single digits or barely into the teens. But if that field gets trimmed down significantly in the early going and a lot of them drop out, all of that far-left support might come together behind someone like Sanders, Harris or Gillibrand.

I think Algore (who has apparently accumulated huge bucks pimping climate change) just enjoys semi-retirement.

I don’t underestimate Biden. I know he is popular among Dems and those that don’t pay attention to politics. But I think the kenyan is pushing Kampala to be the first woman POTUS. Biden is going to get pushed to the side like Bernie is right now.
Could we see “Uncle” Joe going to female bathrooms and hanging out with the fake woman formerly know as Bruce Jenner?
SlowJoe might sneak through the primaries if the whack job Dems divide the cray cray vote enough.
In the Nov election he’d get blue collar Dems that went Trump in 16, but probably low turnout from the whack job crowd.
Saw part of the recent interview with Biden. He does not have the fire in the gut that is necessary to run and run successfully. It seems he is drawing his decision out to get the attention and accolades from the media.
I think Biden will also get a significant number of Republican “Never Trumper” votes. Moreso than any other potential Rat candidate. That’s what scares me, that many Republicans would be comfortable with him.
My strongest suspicion is that Obama and his crowd are pushing for as many candidates as possible to split and divide the field right into the convention, when and where he'll step up and nominate his wife, Michelle, to "unite the party" to the uncontrollable roars of approval from all the Democrat lemmings at the convention.
The funny thing is that when he ran before he couldn’t crack 1% telling you that politics has nothing to do with ideas in that party. I wonder if they’ll all continue to treat each other with kid gloves. If they do he’ll be the nominee for sure.
