An inmate who was convicted in the 1997 cold case murder of an 8-year-old girl whose body was never found was strangled in his Oklahoma prison cell last month, officials said.
Anthony Palma, 59, died from ligature strangulation and blunt force trauma to the head on Jan. 11 while he was in his cell at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester, KFOR reported.

It’s a shame to have to rely on inmates to do the work the “system” won’t. But justice one way or the other.
He might have disclosed the location of the body if he was still alive. As a parent, this would have made me unhappy with the timing.
I could use a little good news.
Doubtful he would disclose. I have mixed feelings on this. Knowing that this individual could somehow be released on some technicality would haunt me every day.
So they already had the guy in prison for her killing, then they found new evidence to support why they already had him there?
I read it that she was murdered in 1997, he was caught in 2015 and convicted in 2017.
Couple relative of the dead girl would for sure find out where he left her body. I can think of a few ways. What a piece of garbage.
I watched the show on this on ID. It was a cold case and the cops decided to do a dna on all the surrounding men in the area. this guy’s dna came back positive. they tried to get him to divulge where she is and her mother wrote him to get a meeting. not sure if he would have ever told.
his blood was on the window sill
In Wisconsin we call that being, ‘Dahmerized.’ ;)
Used in a sentence, “He done got hissef Dahmerized!”
I suspect the executioner may know the location of the body....and the authorities may developed a few new leads within weeks.....
Justice, somewhat, but far delayed. Wasted money, other resources, etc.
The old days were so much better. “Speedy trial” - and speedy punishment.
By this time he should already have disclosed where the body is.
Yes, I think I just saw it over the weekend. We have a young relative who went missing/presumed dead (not criminal) almost 6 years ago, and I can tell you that finding and being able to bury the remains would be HUGE in helping the family to experience more comfort and healing.
As a person who has served in MI, I know that ANYONE can be “motivated” to divulge information. The problem is verifying the veracity of the information. And you usually do not want to “lose” the source until the information has been verified.
Well, you know what they say, “Torture doesn’t work,” which is BS, by the way. The only people who say that don’t know anything about interrogation (which is NOT what law enforcement does). What do they think the “Rendition” program was about...?
If you doubt it, consider this. Some who read this post became indignant, shocked and offended that anyone might stoop to torturing a captive to obtain useful information, even if it saves lives. In other words, they believe that I don’t have a problem with torture. Purpose served - see what I mean?
COHEN HIS NEW ROOM MATE.
Or, “Jeffrified”?
I suspect..
