Former vice president Joe Biden was in Omaha at the Forum in Global Leadership at the University of Nebraska-Omaha yesterday when he said a kind word about our devout Christian Vice President Mike Pence.
Former Vice President Joe Biden on Thursday described current Vice President Mike Pence as “a decent guy,” but then quickly backtracked following criticism from actress Cynthia Nixon.
Biden made the comment while speaking at an event in Omaha, Nebraska. The remark provoked a quick backlash online from left-wingers.
Nixon addressed Biden in a tweet, writing “you’ve just called America’s most anti-LGBT elected leader ‘a decent guy.’ Please consider how this falls on the ears of our community.”
Biden, who is expected to run for president, grovelled like a dog before the leftist onslaught:
You’re right, Cynthia. I was making a point in a foreign policy context, that under normal circumstances a Vice President wouldn’t be given a silent reaction on the world stage.

Ms. Nixon's views on issues are formed by her personal beliefs. Why can't she grant the vice president the same? I would question her calling Pence "anti-LGBTQ" just because he's not 100% behind the gay rights movement. Being opposed to gay marriage, or gay adoption is not "anti-" anything. It's "pro" tradition. You can argue that some traditions should end, but does his opposition to these issues disqualify him from being "decent"?
Of course not. By all reports, Pence is a loving husband and father and and a truly dedicated public servant.

Biden just disqualified himself from serious consideration for the top job. Far too easily swayed.
I'm not in favor of beating them up or running them out of town.
But I'm also not in favor of giving them SPECIAL rights to impose themselves on school children or Christian bakers who do not wish to join in celebrating their perversity.
Not many years ago, I'd be called a libertarian for this common point of view. Now, I would probably be called a homophobe or something worse.

I think he means that with the blinding speed at which this country is moving to the Left on social issues, Mike Pence, as good a guy and devoted Christian as he is, is not going to be a viable candidate by 2024.

You are correct, Pence just made an open border Koch guy his chief of staff. If Pence was POTUS there would be no push for the wall. So Biden saying a nice thing about Pence is not a good thing. The fact that Joe backtracked it because an LBGT crazy got upset shows what a hack Biden is.
Joe knows that Pence was part of the Boehner, Ryan, Cantor, McCarthy House leadership that has been blocking the citizens from stopping the illegal alien inundation.
He’s also far too cozy with Kushner in the immigration sellout, etc.
Not surprising that Deep State Joe would think Deep State Mike is not a bad guy...
