How John Adams Predicted Bernie Sanders and His Acolytes

And ultimately, we may only keep as much as they might allow through the government’s ever-increasing assertion of its ownership, a mandate which becomes more firmly placed with each popular declaration that all property is, somehow, communal.

Again returning to Adams, he predicted this:

"The moment the idea is admitted into society, that property is not as sacred as the laws of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence."

And he even provides a description as to how it would happen, which, again, is eerily similar to Sanders’s proposed policies that have his flock so incredibly excited:

"Perhaps, at first, prejudice, habit, shame or fear, principle or religion, would restrain the poor from attacking the rich, and the idle from usurping on the industrious; but the time would not be long before courage and enterprise would come, and pretexts be invented by degrees, to countenance the majority in dividing all the property among them, or at least, in sharing it equally with its present possessors. Debts would be abolished first; taxes laid heavily on the rich, and not at all on the others; and at last a downright equal division of everything be demanded, and voted. What would be the consequence of this? The idle, the vicious, the intemperate would rush into the utmost extravagance of debauchery, sell and spend their share, and then demand a new division of those who purchased from them."

How is it that a man writing in 1787 could be so prescient??

BECAUSE THIS SOCIALISM CRAP IS NOTHING NEW!!!

Yet this age-old failure of an idea continues to capture the minds of the gullible youth.

“The moment the idea is admitted into society, that property is not as sacred as the laws of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence.”

That started when the 16th amendment (income tax) was ratified. It basically says that the government has first claim on whatever you earn. At its discretion, it may let you keep some of it.

Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other. --John Adams

They Judeo-Christion ethic... thou shalt not lie, steal, murder... is the foundation of Western civilization. Without it, there is no civilization.

John Adams understood human nature. He lived in France and while in office was aware of the excesses of the French revolution. He understood that the leaders of the Left were able to motivate the masses with dreams of seizing the wealth of the privileged, and redistributing it in some “equality” scheme. Of course while wealth was seized and the productive privileged were killed or exiled, the French revolution ant its proto-socialists neither created wealth or equality. Instead they became imperialistic, militaristic and depended on conquest and subjugation of most of Europe to solidify their wellbeing at least for a while. Without the founders like Adams who inherently understood human nature and behavior, the American Republic would have been stillborn. People like Sanders and his ilk are a perpetual threat to America.

It began when "In the beginning God created...male and female He created...He gave them dominion.." was stealthily replaced by "in the beginning Big Bang (exploding Cosmic Egg), and evolution" produced something variously known as an aggregate of matter in human form, bio-machines, hominids, holons and assorted dehumanized conceptions worth less than nothing

In Marxism for example, all humans are depersonalized, soulless aspects of the collective unconscious. Marxism’s scientifically engineered New Man is merely coalesced complex forms of matter-- a product of evolution and begotten by the Sovereign World State.

The New Man has lost all sense of individuality and exists drone-like in collectivized (totalized) society as a natural resource, a part of the whole, made for the whole, and relatively worthless if not coalesced within the collective.

. This nothingness is what has replaced "We the people" endowed with unalienable (God-given) rights in the eyes of our 'betters,' our genetically superior 'elite' class.

Right you are.

The 16th amendment is by far the worst self inflicted calamity perpetrated on this country. It destroyed the concepts of private property and privacy.

I would happily support a national sales tax and repeal that abomination.

It’s funny how Bernie “BS” Sanders announces his campaign will be free of “greed” when that is the core of his platform.
