So many horrible general officers in the US military to include those retired. All the conservatives were purged in the obama years. It is just like what erodogan did in Turkey to convert his army from a secular army to an islamic fundamentalist army.

Once you’ve worked around the opposition, you’ll never work around a Clinton White House. My cousin worked for the phone company in the White House from Nixon thru Bush the elder. He was a Navy vet. He was told to move out when the Clintons moved in.

High ranking military officers usually never make good employees. They are too conditioned to giving orders that get carried out without any questions allowed. Kelly is certainly a prime example. Even though he had the title “chief-of-staff” he had to take orders from President Trump which he was not good at doing. Then he had to persuade and convince others to carry them out. Many times those others were political figures that needed a lot of persuading. He was ill equipped for the job, and he grew to hate it. He failed.
Is it naive to say I really liked Kelly.
Is it possible his remarks were taken out of context?.....or were they as snarky as ABC is making them...?
