“but we absolutely have to fix the law.”

That’s the talking point sent out to all the rinos, etc. as an excuse for inaction. Knowing damn well the rats will never fix the asylum laws. POTUS can stop all immigration for whatever reason(8 United States Code Section 1182 F—not that he needs permission from congress). The fact that this is not being done should ALARM EVERYONE!

These guys had two years to fix things and sat on their hands. But we have the Supreme Court now; we should use it.

Until only a few years ago, if they caught you crossing illegally, they logged your name and you (and your family) were back across the border that same day.

Selective judicial rulings have tied BP’s hands... but those things can be challenged if you have a majority on the Supreme Court, which we do. So I agree, Trump should simply exercise his constitutional authority, and stop playing the “asylum” game. And let the Supremes back him up.
