I clicked on it. The author says he is/was a Navy pilot and ring-knocker. He is a Song Bird supporter and Trump’s defecation on McCain’s war record during the 2016 primaries likely sent the writer over the edge. And the paper is from North Jersey (99% “Bergen” means northeastern lib shithole country) so that explains it.
A puppy wouldn’t piss on that paper.

This guy’s reasoning is nothing more than Democrat talking points wrapped up in “credibility” of his prior service. He is no different, nor does he have any more authority for his opinion than anyone else. His reasoning, if you want to call it that is completely flawed and represents TDS.,

I don’t care if you’re with King George, or modern-day elites. If you’re not with “the people” and The Constitution, you are a traitor. And at this time, “the people” have elected Trump to be commander-in-chief.
It’s great if you advise him in areas you disagree.
It’s fine if you let the world know you disagree with the elected US president.
It’s not OK if you attack him.
There can be a fine line between public disagreement and attacks. But “the pen is mightier than the sword” and the difference in intended outcome between “character assassination” vs “Lincoln assassination” may not be that big - what is the intent of this article?
McCain and supporters kind of brought that on himself. It’s certainly OK to cite military service as part of one’s resume, but it’s not OK to declare any outside criticism off limits just because one is a veteran. I didn’t follow the particulars at the granular level but I got the impression they decided any criticism is off limits, so Donny Two Scoops let ‘em have it. F ‘em.
I’ll never forgive the SOB for claiming “there’s nothing to fear” about an Obie presidency. That he would say that was ridiculous on its face, but he said it during the campaign. He wanted to lose. What an asshole.

I left some feedback at his blog. There he has many articles worthy of response. Topics include: Gun control and “America was Never Great” He uses his prior service as a cloak like Senator McCain and John Effin Kerry. Commies in the services are a cancer. Thank God he got out.
