Interesting how the NASA guy didnt mention the loser big rocket they and Boeing and others have been developing for the last 20 years - with no flights, or even engine tests, yet they keep spending billions of our dollars on it.
Perhaps NASA worked to assist Muslim astronauts in finding the proper place to point toward Mecca while in space...

It’s a make work program that’s designed to be slow and expensive. Everybody in the industry knows it.

Thanks fieldmarshaldj. I watched an 11+ minute video of the reentry and splashdown, and boy was it dull. :^) I'll be more interested when SpaceX shoots off the FH with Arabsat, and a little later this year, when the second Crew Dragon carries two astronauts to the ISS.
Dull is usually good when rocketry is involved.
When I want to lift my spirits I watch the replay of last year’s FH launch.

All the cheering keeps it from getting old.
The FH launch / landings were the high point (thus far).
Nice graphic!
It looks to me like the ride down under the parachutes and bobbing in the ocean is going to be a vomit comet.
Too bad the original plan for propulsive landings din’t work out.

A microcosm of that is contract to fill potholes on a five mile stretch of road utilizing a crew of 12 and taking 1 year to do it.
