Because it's not the only job she's ever held.

This whole "Miss Bartender Goes To Washington" is a media-created narrative to obfuscate the fact that she's a far-left community organizer who campaigned tirelessly for Bernie Sanders.

AOC collected paychecks as educational director for lefty Hispanic organizations and was ultimately groomed for public office by Cenk Uygur's Justice Democrats and Saikat Chakrabarti's Brand New Congress.

Slinging drinks is actually the least-significant thing about her past.
