The parliamentary group leader of the conservative Christian Democratic Union (CDU) has sparked a divisive debate after he said a Muslim could be a future CDU leader and chancellor of Germany.
Asked by media outlet Idea if a Muslim could lead the party and become chancellor in 2030, Ralph Brinkhaus said: “Why not, if they’re a good politician, and they represent our values and our political views?”
The interview took place in late February, but it stirred a backlash only after Bild, Germany’s biggest tabloid newspaper, reported on it on Wednesday.
“For the love of God, I can’t believe Ralph Brinkhaus said that,” Vincent Kokert, the CDU’s chief in the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, told the paper. “No, I can’t believe it.”
Elisabeth Motschmann, a member of the CDU’s executive board, dismissed Brinkhaus’ view that Islam was compatible with the party’s values.
“The values of Islam are very different from our values — for example, when it comes to questions of equal rights for men and women,” she said. …

It was the Christian Democrats post Weimar— that helped give Germany the Nazis (remember, the SPD social democrats were “centrists” forerunners of the current Christian democrats, and these “centrists” in order to presumbably fight off the communists, supported the “middle Right” National Socialists in a coalition— for the similar Socialist reasons— namely the over presence and monetary actions supposedly of the Weimar jewish germans (never mind that many german jews served in the german army in wwI and got the Iron Cross).
According to William L. Shirer- it was Catholic Nobility- Fritz von Papen who promoted Hitler, once he had lost to him with Hindenburg. During WWI Papen was expelled as Ambassador to the United States for complicity in the planning of acts of sabotage, such as the Vanceboro international bridge bombing to destroy US rail lines. and trying to recruit a private army to invade... Canada! Since we were supporting Britain in the Allies, with Tsarist Russia against Germany. A Germany who then underwrote Lenin to destroy the Russian Tsar and government— so they could “win”, and they lost, and the Communist blowback from helping Lenin— threw them into the arms of the “middle Right” who blamed the “jews” in general (hinting at the jews as supporting the Reds). Crazy times... like now.
Merkel’s pro muzzie immigration is clearly a Nazi holdover, and the same holdover in France— the leftover Vichy politics. Very foolish to let the muzzie male population in to board up your social services socialist system.

The C in CDU is supposed to stand for “Christian”. Of course, with the misnomer “Chrislam” being pushed in the media and academia, who knows what may happen next.
Hell, we had a Muslim as POTUS for 8 years, even if he was in the closet about it.
And now we do not. But look at those serving openly in Congress right now; they make Keith Ellison look reasonable to a point.
This fellow Brinkhaus is calling for them to openly serve as the head of Germany’s government, though.
Why not go ahead and put a bonafide Nazi charge too?

Then why were they allowed into Germany? If you wanted them to be in your country, you take the chance that one of them will be elected Chancellor. It is inevitable with enough support from the right constituency. The Mayor of London comes to mind, as does 2 Congressional representatives here in These United States.
After WWII, Germany and other Western nations had a manpower shortage in their workforces and brought in workers from Turkey and other parts of the Middle East (because the war didn’t pull them in) to make up the shortfall. They were supposed to be “temporary guest workers” who’d eventually deport themselves (to live a life of ease at home with their accumulated savings, presumably) or integrate into the population.
That didn’t happen and now they enjoy the fruits of their policies.
