Along with extremism of political views, it's about power. Democrats have embraced the bigotry of various minority groups to bring them into the fold. Folks like Sharpton, Farrakhan and their cronies aren't about hating Jews as much as whites. And America, as it has existed since 1776. Embrace them, you must accept their bias. Thus statues must come down, even if they are statues of Democrats. Embrace Islam, particularly immigrants, you have to cover up their bias. Which is the same as participating in it.

Ben Shapiro has made a compelling case that most Jews are not Jewish. They vote Left because that's their identity. No reason for anti-Semitism to bother them at all.
