Finland: Government Collapses Over Universal Health Care Costs, #Bernie2020 Hardest Hit
Legalinsurrection.com ^ | March 10, 2019

Finland has long been touted by American socialists as the socialist Nirvana, where everything is free and everyone is happy, happy, happy.  Sadly, fiscal reality hit Finland’s government as it collapsed Friday due to the rising costs of its universal health care.

The warning signs were on the wall last spring when Finland, as Leslie noted, ended its experiment with “universal basic income.”

Bernie Sanders (I-VT), who has been hanging his socialist mantle on the “success” of Finland’s socialist structure, may be the hardest hit.

The Washington Free Beacon reports:

"The government of Finland collapsed Friday due to the rising cost of universal health care and the prime minister’s failure to enact reforms to the system.

Prime Minister Juha Sipila and the rest of the cabinet resigned after the governing coalition failed to pass reforms in parliament to the country’s regional government and health services, the Wall Street Journal reports. Finland faces an aging population, with around 26 percent of its citizens expected to be over 65 by the year 2030, an increase of 5 percent from today."

-Snip

Just a few days before Finland’s government collapsed over its inability to foot the bill for its expansive socialist experiment, Sanders took to Twitter in an attempt to shame America.

Bernie Sanders

@BernieSanders

In the United States it costs, on average, $12,000 to have a baby. In Finland it costs $60. We've got to end the disgrace of our profit-driven health care system and pass Medicare for all.

No problem here. Just indenture all health care professionals, make their contribution part of reparations.

Here's the root cause of the problem...
Finland faces an aging population, with around 26 percent of its citizens expected to be over 65 by the year 2030, an increase of 5 percent from today."
If the natives won't replace themselves, then there's only one solution to keeping the freebies flowing...import muzzies.

It doesn’t cost $60 to have a baby in Finland. That’s just what the parent pays.

I get your point and it’s a clever one.

But Price and Cost are two different things. They may have ignored the market forces set the price at zero. But there’s still a cost to produce the good or service and it’s rising.

You knew that, of course.

Lyin' Bernie strikes again - it costs the parents $60; the government (read: 'The People) pays the rest.

Sanders is, as best, possesses slightly below average intelligence.

In addition, he has NEVER had a real job in his life.

He is a Democrat and has a better than average chance at becoming their 2020 presidential nominee.

If we cannot win against such mediocrity, we deserve the upcoming civil war which will result should the rats win.

We need to come up with something for 2020 beyond mocking gullible young people... There are answers to the healthcare mess that fit within capitalism.

Economics AOC-101
Having a baby in Finland and saving $11,840, allows that savings to be used on infrastructure projects.
Everyone should get on Bernies Short Bus!

Finland’s government as it collapsed Friday due to the rising costs of its universal health care.

Socialized medicine and guaranteed income is egalitarianism. Egalitarianism abolishes causality in the earning of income, resulting in people doing too little, and it abolishes causality in the spending of income, causing people to be unconcerned about cost, resulting in people spending too much. What could possibly go wrong?

AOC was preaching at the hippie redux in Austin this past weekend that she would “keep part of Capitalism,” presumably the part that attempts to keep Socialism afloat for a while. But yes, eventually, ALL Socialist countries fail because they go broke.

Some last longer if they are not queasy about resorting to violence, as in Cuba and Venezuela, but Finland’s Socialists didn’t have the stomach for killing their countrymen to make them pay more to the government. They simply resigned when the country went bankrupt.

That anyone should be considering continuing down the ruinous road of Socialism in this country is a testament to the enemy within the US, operating out of our schools, churches, and governments. They hate America and should be regarded as traitors.
