Are those numbers suspect because of the source, or because you know better?
On the ground here in SAC I have no reason to doubt them, or verify.
People are continually moving into California that can afford it. If you make $250K you can probably afford it. If you do not you probably can’t. If I could afford to live at Pebble Beach, I would. It is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
People are also moving out when they do not have an income and want to retire. Sell your bungelow in California and buy a mansion in most other places or a water front house elsewhere.
