[[I can agree, on a narrow point, that if consenting adults are doing things, then it is a “victimless” crime.]]

It’s not a victimless crime- disease is spread by this activity- and innocent people get affected by it, doctors, nurses, health workers, hospital patients- etc= in many different ways- and we the people end up paying for lifelong very very expensive drugs and healthcare for those who engage in it-

Makes you wonder too if it is natural for a woman to want to sleep around for free or for money. I bet that there was abuse in her past that desensitized her.

For women, intimacy has a very deep and important meaning. It creates a bond that is necessary for successful procreation and rearing of children. Sadly, all of those doctorate level sociologists and psychologists don't understand this basic human need.

How about massage parlors where the women are there voluntarily and not engaging in sex and are not trafficked? No disease is spread there? Isn't this the morality police at work?

You're confusing mid to upscale Escorts (always use condoms) with street-walkers who are used by pimps, gangs, cartels, or independent druggies. Big difference.

Making prostitution legal WILL eliminate much of that. Dumbass joe at a convention has mutual fun with a woman. Dumbass joe cruising the streets can and will spread STD's. Think this through. It has worked in a couple of Nevada counties for years with NO problems. They are tested regularly, plus they insist on condoms.

Prostitution should have been made legal long ago between two consenting adults. Yes, take chances with a street-walker, but if legal, costs would come down for professionals.

If it were legal, the women wouldn’t have to hide and get proper health care and wouldn’t need to ply their trade to pay for drugs....just sayin’

I live in N Nevada in a county that allows legal brothels.

EVERY lady is checked WEEKLY in the local clinic. IF they were not customers there WEEKLY, that clinic wouldn’t be operating for the rest of us.
