I agree. Trump wins because the American electorate is not prepared to swallow the Progressive agenda.
Yet.
I’m afraid in about a decade we’ll be looking at a totally different situation.
What we need is the same thing we had in 2016: a horrible candidate to win the Dem primary. Somewhere around 45% of voters will not vote for Trump under any circumstance, so even the best case is a slim victory. The easiest path to victory is a candidate so bad, the left will stay home. We barely squeaked by in 2016, so we really need to find someone just as bad as Hillary. Or maybe we need Hillary herself. We would also benefit from more partisanship and over reach by the left. A failed impeachment after Trump is cleared by Mueller would be good for a couple points.

I am a little disillusioned, I got the news today after 30 years of not owing any tax to the feds this year “the year of the biggest tax cuts in American history” I owe the feds a few thousand. WTF
Utter horseshit. African emigration to the U.S. has only been going on in earnest since 80s and 90s, and has never been more than a trickle, compared to other races and nationalties.
Black Americans with slave ancestry numbered about 32 million in that timeframe, and despite abortion and a lower than average life expectancy, have increased that number by at least ten million in the decades since.
As many native Africans as there are in this country, they're still rare. The author doesn't know what he's talking about with regard to this subject.
