It might be harder for the left to pick a candidate in 2020. Too moderate, white or male, and the socialists/hard left stay home. Too far left and the more moderate dems (the same ones who voted for Trump in WI, MI, PA, etc) go back to Trump. I think Beto will be the VP pick to try to energize the millenials, but not sure who they could put on top. I wish Pelosi would run.
