Rahm doesn’t disagree with the leftward lurch. It’s merely a disagreement over whether the indoctrinated compose a majority of the electorate. This is not a change in the Democrat party, it’s simply taking off the mask.
One thing we have got going for us is the fact that with social media and the left's need to out-Marxist the next Marxist, everyone running for office will not be able to hide their true motives anymore.
In days gone by a candidate could customize each speech they made to each different group. We used to have to rely on video tape from a news room and hold our breath until they showed it to us on the evening news. As a consequence, we missed all the other speeches the candidate made. A lib could pretend to be one thing during the campaign and then turn around and say something completely different at the next stop.
Those days are long gone.
The left can't just cut their hair, put on a suit and pretend to be a conservative to get the votes and then do a left turn once in office.
AOC is the best example of what I mean. She has got the others in her party flustered, not because of what she says but because of the fact that she is supposed to hide at least some of it.
With our lightening fast communication there is no cover. A candidate and their motives are now on full display.
This is a good thing, and it will get Donald Trump elected to a second term.
Voters don’t think of Congress members when voting for President. They think of the two candidates, and most voters choose the one they think is nicest, most caring, and generous.

Rahm Emmanuel should realize that today’s Democrat Party doesn’t care what a Jewish man has to say. He is not welcome with them anymore.

First off Emmanuel is not in the least bit concerned about what Democrats believe, he’s concerned that they are admitting it publicly. Big No-No.
Second, most people don’t seem to realize the unhinged level of loyalty most Democrats have for their party. For every hardcore Democrat who votes Republican, two illegal aliens will vote Democrat. You can take that to the bank.
