I urge you all not to sit idly by and let this happen just because Republicans are the ones who are doing it.
It can and will be used against you...

When it comes to these “red flag” gun confiscation laws, remember, we do NOT have a friend in the white house or the AG office.

Guns today. Then it’ll be knives. Then hammers. Then just start cutting off hands.
Schools have had butter knives banned for years. Sharpened #2 pencils and pointy compasses can do a heck of a lot more damage than butter knives.

Let’s face it, the Republican party in general resents our ability to resist government almost as much as the Democrat Party. And the election of Trump has angered them even more. We have no business resisting them.
Any one who has been paying attention has known that red flag laws are the coming approach to gun confiscation. And once states started doing it it’s inevitable that the feds would want to get in on it.
It is also inevitable in my opinion, that eventually keeping your guns and your gun rights is going to come to armed [and violent] resistance.
The Republican party is not our friend on this subject. Some Republicans are, but the party as a whole is not. Like the Democrats they distain the average American, they’re just slightly more subtle about it. Usually. I think that since President Trump was elected they have made less effort to hide their antipathy for the “little people”.

It is imperative that those of us that have the ability to appropriate effective weapons made prior to 1895 do so. Krags, Winchesters, SA Army, Trapdoors, and even Mausers can be had that are in excellent shape. Black powder rifles are not registered and can be bought easily. Whitworths are very accurate.

Be serious, those like McConnell will not even get a serious primary challenger. Collins has been there as long as she has because Maine wants her there. A practical goal might be to replace a few like Sasse with more reliable conservatives. He votes with Trump 80% of the time but Nebraskans don’t like his showboating. McSally will run as an incumbent and is as conservative as you can expect to get from the state that reelected McTurd over and over.
