What is it with British PMs and appeasement of Germans?

A confidential source talking to an unknown blog.
Yeah, that’s the ticket.

Mrs May allegedly told the Chancellor would "appease" Brexit voters while nonetheless enabling her to get rid of those Tories who were (in her words) "against progress and unity in the EU." According to the transcript, Mrs May is also reported to have agreed "to keep as many EU laws and institutions in effect as she could despite the current groundswell of anti-EU hysteria in Britain" (again, apparently her words).

She was a pathetic Home Minister as well. nothing has changed. Her character is inflexible and she doesn’t improve.

She was on paper supporting the Remain campaign but she did nothing on that. She didn't say anything about it. What Theresa May is, is a squatter - she thought Remain would win, so she "supported" Remain, but not too loudly - just in case.
When it lost, she was the least worst option and she got the top job.

Maybe I have the wrong understanding, but wasn’t May from the Tory party? Why would she want to seek a more progressive approach? Or, is she a TINO, a Tory in name only?

Personally, I prefer the word CHINO (Conservative in name only) but am stuck with the H!
She may be a member of the Conservative Party, but if you examine her record as Home Secretary, for example, she is actually hard-left Socialist!
