I saw a story on Twitter than a “well-known” private citizen was firing back but I believe the guy’s account has been pulled for posting videos pf the attack.

a “well-known” private citizen was firing back Which, according to NZ law, is not a legitimate use of his gun. He could, in theory, be prosecuted for that.
