If you are not familiar with the Siege of Vienna in 1683, the significance of Vienna in the Turk mind is lost.
Here is a description of that battle that I found a number of years ago:
And here is a .pdf describing why the battle has such significance to the conflict of Christians and Turks.
Polish General Sobieski saved Germany from Muslims
And never forget the significance of our own 9-11.
Bravo! for the Winged Hussars! I say.
Nothing to sophisticated about them. It seems like every time one opens the mouth, it just begs for justification for killing them all.
The flaw is written in their book.
They may choose to forget it, or not even read it, but it is still there for those in the future to read.
Yes, I posted another article about the General and his Winged Hussars.
I’ll have to look it up tomorrow. Must leave now to care for my father for the evening.
This is good history. Good guys won.
They must have knocked a few zeros off of the TL. I once paid over 10 million for 2 nights in a hotel in a suburb of IST some decades ago.

The Saracens gave up their attempt to conquer Vienna, fled to another battle but left behind a ton of coffee bags. The Viennese noticed, took them in, and that is where “Vienna roast” coffee got its start. Now you know the rest of the story.
They already have London, they will soon have Paris and Berlin.
Vienna has been outflanked!
Its long past time to liberate Constantinople from the Turks.
The Muslims can make these statements because the naïve Kafirs don't seem to understand the threat of Islam and consider it just another religion that should be respected. - Tom
A hundred years before the Siege of Vienna there was the Battle of Lepanto which was also successful.
Is this Erdogan’s Declaration of War against the whole world?
That was amazing! I watched and left a comment. Thanks for posting the link!
Lancers are h*** on unformed infantry.
Erdogan is simply reiterating Mad Mo’s declaration of war on the rest of the world.
It’s been going on since 622 A.D.
Mad Mo made it so.
You’re welcome.
If you’re not familiar with Sabaton, they make songs about historical desperate battles and the men that fought them.
You’d probably like their song Primo Victoria too.
Anyhoo, I think that particular video was scenes from a Polish movie about the battle of Vienna with the Winged Hussars song edited in.
