Judge Declares FBI’s Search for Peter Strzok Records Inadequate

A petulant child or employee will perform a task halfway and wait to see if he can get away with it. Such seems to be the strategy of the entire Deep State bureaucracy.

The FBI is particularly good at this, and we are particularly good at calling them on it. Luckily for the American people we have judges who respect the Freedom of Information Act.

A case in point: U.S. District Court Judge Christopher R. Cooper for the District of Columbia has agreed with that the FBI did not adequately search for records related to the removal and reassignment of Peter Strzok from special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigative team. He was a former deputy to the assistant director for counterintelligence at the FBI.

In granting our request, Judge Cooper ordered the FBI to further search their records. (The original, deficient search had only returned 14 pages .)

The order comes in the December 2017 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit we filed after the DOJ failed to respond to and August 17, 2017, request ( Judicial Watch, Inc. v. Federal Bureau of Investigation (No. 1:17-cv-02682)). Judicial Watch seeks:

On July 31, 2018, we released the first 14 pages of FBI documents produced in this FOIA lawsuit, showing that Strzok insisted on retaining his FBI security clearance before moving to the Mueller team and confirmed that Strzok played a pivotal role in the flawed Hillary Clinton email investigation.

In his decision, Judge Cooper called the FBI’s search “overly cramped:”

Notwithstanding that Judicial Watch’s request referred to Mueller by name … the Bureau searched only for the term “special counsel.” But surely one would expect that Agent Strzok and other FBI personnel might use the Special Counsel’s name — “Mueller” — rather than his title when discussing Strzok’s assignment to the Russia investigation, especially in informal emails. Another logical variation on “special counsel” is its commonly used acronym “SCO,” which appears to be used within the Special Counsel’s Office itself, as reflected by documents that the FBI uncovered and produced to Judicial Watch.

The ruling also stated that the FBI did not adequately respond to our FOIA lawsuit because it limited its search to only Strzok’s email account.

Judge Cooper ordered that the FBI must conduct a new search that includes “the email accounts of any of Agent Strzok’s superiors or other Bureau officials who were involved in the decision to assign him to the Special Counsel’s Office or the decision to reassign him to the FBI’s Human Resources Division after his removal from the Mueller investigation.”

The FBI must also expand its search to other forms of communication in addition to email. Given Strzok’s well-known use of text messaging, “it strikes the Court as reasonably likely that he discussed his assignment to the Special Counsel’s Office in text messages—which again is the standard for assessing an agency’s selection of search locations.”

Strzok was reportedly removed from the Mueller investigative team in August 2017 and reassigned to a human resources position after it was discovered that he and then-FBI lawyer Lisa Page exchanged text messages during the Clinton investigation and 2016 election season that raised serious questions about his anti-Trump/pro-Clinton bias. They were also engaged in an extramarital affair. Strzok infamously texted “there’s no way he gets elected — but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk.”

Strzok reportedly oversaw the FBI’s interviews of former National Security Adviser, General Michael Flynn; changed former FBI Director James Comey’s language about Hillary Clinton’s actions regarding her illicit email server from “grossly negligent” to “extremely careless;” played a lead role in the FBI’s interview of Clinton and is suspected of being responsible for using the unverified dossier to obtain a FISA warrant in order to spy on President Trump’s campaign.

The Court rightly slammed the FBI for its gamesmanship in searching for records about one of the most notorious FBI agents of all time – Peter Strzok. The FBI leadership is in cover-up mode on its abuses targeting President Trump, and we’re pleased a federal court pushed back on this stonewall.

FBI’s Lisa Page to Peter Strzok: ‘I Truly Hate’ Pro-Lifers
Strzok to Page: “F*cking marchers making traffic problems.”

BREITBART.COM Text messages released this week between disgraced FBI attorney Lisa Page and agent Peter Strzok, show Page saying, “I truly hate” pro-lifers and the two discussing shutting down the 2016 March for Life on the national mall.

‘I truly hate these people’: Disgraced FBI agents trashed pro-lifers, wanted to stop March for Life FBI agent Strzok said authorities should lie about a 'snow emergency' so as to 'cancel the permit' for the March for Life.

As LifeSiteNews reports, a transcript of the conversation on January 22, 2016 – the day of the March for Life – reveals the conversation between the two:

Strzok: “F*cking marchers making traffic problems.”

Page: “Yeah, some extremely offensive video screens set up in front of district. I truly hate these people. No support for the woman who actually has to spend the rest of her life rearing this child, but we care about ‘life.’ Assholes.”

Strzok: “And literally I’m the last car thru 4 lights as they shut down Pennsylvania Ave. Hey, I have an idea! Snow emergency, cancel the permit.”

Page and Strzok – both married to other people – were reportedly carrying on an affair.

“It’s not surprising that these people would hate pro-lifers so much that they would want to abuse their authority to cancel the March for Life,” Operation Rescue President Tony Newman told LifeSiteNews. “Given their extreme political bias against those who hold pro-life views, one can only expect them to stoop to criminal conduct.”

As Breitbart News reported, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) said the latest batch of text messages between Page and Strzok, who were involved in the investigations into allegations President Donald Trump aided Russian “collusion” in his election and Hillary Clinton’s email scandal, reveal FBI views of Trump were more than just biased, they actually show “animus” toward the president.

==================================

Trump has been hailed by national pro-life leaders as “the most pro-life president in modern history.” While on the campaign trail in 2016, Trump promised his pro-life base he would fulfill four promises: Nominating pro-life justices to the U.S. Supreme Court Signing into law the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which would end painful late-term abortions nationwide Defunding Planned Parenthood as long as they continue to perform abortions and reallocating their funding to community health centers that provide comprehensive health care for women Making the Hyde Amendment permanent law to protect taxpayers from having to pay for abortions

Father Frank Pavone, national director of Priests for Life, a member of Pres Trump’s Catholic Advisory Group, told Breitbart News the president’s team has followed through with its promise that Trump “would do everything that past pro-life presidents have done, ‘and more,’” and is on course to “put America back on the solid foundation of her founding principles.”

WRT the two FBI birds hatred for pro-lifers.....let's not forget......they were working closely with the abortion-worshipping Halfrican.

In one hacked email, vagina-ready Page emailed that "Obama want to know everything we're doing."

2004 BACKSTORY In February 2004, then-US Senate candidate Barack Obama's wife, Michelle, sent a fund-raising letter with the "alarming news" that "right-wing politicians" had passed a law stopping doctors from performing p/b abortions (stabbing half-born babies in the neck with scissors, suctioning out their brains and crushing their skulls).

Michelle Obama considers partial-birth abortion "a legitimate medical procedure," and asked supporters for $150 to attend a luncheon for her candidate husband, b/c he would fight against "cynical ploys" to stop p/b sbortions.

(NOTE: nurses at an Illinois hospital in 1999 discovered babies were being aborted alive and placed on shelves in soiled utility rooms to die unattended.)

==================================

BACKGROUND Legislation was presented on the federal level and in various states called the Born Alive Infants Protection Act. It stated all live-born babies were guaranteed the same constitutional right to equal protection, whether or not they were wanted.

BAIPA sailed through the U.S. Senate by unanimous vote. Even Sens. Clinton, Kennedy and Kerry agreed a mother's right to "choose" stopped at her baby's delivery. The bill also passed overwhelmingly in the US House. NARAL went neutral on it. Abortion enthusiasts publicly agreed that fighting BAIPA would appear extreme. President Bush signed BAIPA into law in 2002.

But in Obama's Illinois, the state version of BAIPA repeatedly failed, thanks in large part to then-state Sen. Barack Obama. It only passed in 2005, after Obama left. Obama articulately asserted that legislation protecting live aborted babies might infringe on women's rights or abortionists' rights (The very same judicial reasoning used to approve dismemberment of aborted babies).

In 2003, as chairman of the next state Senate committee to which BAIPA was sent, Obama stopped it from even getting a hearing, shelving it to die much like babies were still being shelved to die in Illinois hospitals and abortion chambers.

(NOTE As chair of that same committee, state Sen Obama once abruptly ended a hearing early, right before the parents of six children killed as a result of Illinois' drivers licenses-for-bribes scandal, were to testify in favor of Choose Life

Notice how the rampant leaking never seems to affect stuff the Deep State would prefer stays hidden?

Well, discounting doings that ended up in a dead leaker of course.

Judicial Watch Sues for ‘Coup’ Documents
Former acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe, Top DOJ Officials considered asking Cabinet members
to invoke the 25th Amendment in order to remove Pres Trump; discussed recording meetings with Trump

Judicial Watch ^ | February 19, 2019 | Tom Fitton / FR Posted on 2/19/2019, 5:50:55 PM by jazusamo

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Justice for all records of communication of former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, the Office of the Attorney General Jeff Sessions, or the Office of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein discussing the 25th Amendment or presidential fitness. Additionally, the lawsuit seeks all recordings made by any official in the Office of the Attorney General or Deputy Attorney General of meetings in the Executive Office of the President or Vice President.

The suit was filed after the Justice Department failed to respond to three separate FOIA requests dated September 21, 2018 ( Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:19-cv-00388)). The lawsuit seeks all written and audio/visual records of any FBI/DOJ discussions regarding the 25th Amendment and plans to secretly record President Trump in the Oval Office. On February 14, 2019, former acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe stated in an interview with CBS that “there were conversations about the possibility of removing Trump under the 25th Amendment and confirming that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein had offered to wear a wire around the president.”

After President Trump fired then-FBI Director James Comey, reportedly top DOJ officials discussed whether to recruit cabinet members to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump from office. President Trump recently tweeted : “The biggest abuse of power and corruption scandal in our history, and it’s much worse than we thought. Andrew McCabe (FBI) admitted to plotting a coup (government overthrow) when he was serving in the FBI, before he was fired for lying & leaking.”

It was reported in September 2018 that Deputy Attorney General, Rod J. Rosenstein, suggested that he secretly record President Trump in the White House in an effort to invoke the 25th Amendment and have President Trump removed. Judicial Watch’s immediate follow-up FOIA requests were ignored. “It is no surprise that we are facing an immense cover-up of senior FBI and DOJ leadership discussions to pursue a seditious coup against President Trump,” stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “This effort to overthrow President Trump is a fundamental threat to our constitutional republic so Judicial Watch will do everything it can in the courts to expose everything possible about this lawlessness.” ###

A Sept 2018 report noted that AG Rosenstein secretly recorded Pres Trump in the White House preparatory to invoking the 25th Amendment to have Pres Trump removed. Judicial Watch’s immediate follow-up FOIA requests were ignored. Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton: “It is no surprise that we are facing an immense cover-up of senior FBI and DOJ leadership discussions to pursue a seditious coup against Pres Trump. This effort to overthrow Pres Trump is a fundamental threat to our constitutional republic; Judicial Watch will do everything it can in the courts to expose everything possible about this lawlessness.”

Corrupt just doesn't adequately describe these Deep State bums.....more like born-criminals and con artists.
Two important products of Congressional investigations:
<><>the 18 Jan 2017 memo declassified by Pres Trump,
<><> the 28 Dec 2018 letter to Sen Mitch McConnell,

The key facts revealed:
<><> (1) the Obama FBI used, as factual basis for FISA apps, bogus info from the Steele dossier, a compilation of anti-Trump info that the FBI had not verified.
<><> (2) Obama's corrupt FBI nevertheless swore to the truth of that info to obtain surveillance warrants on Carter Page, Trump's one-time campaign advisor;
<><> (3) in the process of obtaining the search warrants the Obama FBI failed to inform FISA that the Steele dossier was bought and paid for by the DNC and Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.

Obama hand-in-hand with his pal, NSA's Susan Rice.... outrageously asked for and obtained hundreds of “unmaskings,” of US citizens’. Their communications were intercepted by the Obama FBI and NSA as part of so-called intel operations. Innocent Americans were unmasked, and were used against Trump in the campaign.
<><> Why did the unmaskings even occur, and what information was illegally shared by Rice with Obama and/or Hillary?
<><>What illegal direction did the FBI, the NSA, and other intel agencies take to monitor Trump-related communications?

Predictably, Democraps have stopped the investigations cold. The most heinous aspect of this Democrap outrage is that the Obama admin and his factotums ----like Third World tinpot warlords----calculatedly picked over the intel apparat, set-up to protect the safety and security of Americans, to advance their scurrilous political schemes.

Partners in crime.......the two we should be investigating.

Note there is NO mention of the “2 hops” rule for FISA warrants. The FISA wasn’t just to spy on Trump's campaign via Carter Page.......
With “the 2 hops rule” the Obama spies could spy on virtually the entire Trump campaign staff. (read on)

SOURCE---REDDIT.COM Under FISA law, when the government obtains a warrant on an individual, they are also allowed to spy on anyone that person contacts, as well as anyone the contacted person contacts, as well as anyone that person contacted, going back FIVE YEARS!

IOW, the Obama admin got a FISA warrant on Carter Page, but since Page would have been in contact with at least 1 member of the Trump campaign, and that member or one of their contacts probably was in contact with virtually anyone even remotely connected to the campaign........the FISA warrant made it "legal" for Obama and his cronies to spy on anyone even remotely connected to Trump or the campaign and look at ANY of their communications over the last FIVE YEARS!

The most misleading Deep State talking points is that the Obama FISAS were innocently looking at Page "only."
