Steele admits he used posts from 'random individuals' on CNN website for Trump dossier
American Thinker ^ | March 16, 2019 | Rick Moran

The dossier that launched several investigations into Donald Trump and his presidential campaign was based, in part, on posts from "random individuals" from a CNN website that allows the public to publish unverified information.

Christopher Steele made the admission in a deposition given in connection with a lawsuit against the dossier. The judge released portions of the deposition this week.

Washington Examiner:

According to deposition transcripts released this week, Steele said last year he used a 2009 report he found on CNN's iReport website and said he wasn't aware that submissions to that site are posted by members of the public and are not checked for accuracy.

A web archive from July 29, 2009 shows that CNN described the site in this manner: "iReport.com is a user-generated site. That means the stories submitted by users are not edited, fact-checked, or screened before they post."

“It’s worse that I thought. “

This is unbelievable! I know they were desperate to take POTUS out but this really makes them look like fools. All I can say is they must of thought they were going to be able to pull off this traitorous coup just like they have been able to successfully pull off all kinds of nefarious plots over the decades.

They need to be tried as the traitors they are.

“but this really makes them look like fools. ”

To me it makes them look like they’ve done the same thing before.

If it’s on the internet, it must be true!

Yes, if you can't trust the internet, who can you trust?

Too depressing.
We should get our minds off this.

Let’s try——
Philippians 4:8 King James Version (KJV)
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

I’m sure it didn’t get better.

I think that attitude was pretty much always there. For a long time.

You got to hand it to Hillary! She got her money’s worth funding the Steele report. Got to trash Trump, Spy on his organization, limit his power in congress, and keep the “scandal” in the news—and fund an investigation for 2 1/2 years (or More). She got a great deal! Now if she had only played her cards right—worked a bit harder—she might be president.

If the information in the dossier was real, and obtained by real Russian sources, who maybe have to be bribed, or was the result of real surveillance, real manhours spent digging and following and whatnot, you can expect expenses to run into six figures.

But it wasn’t real, it was fiction. As such it could have been cranked out in an afternoon.

So, 12 million to Perkins Coie, who passed 9 million to Fusion, who passed six figures to Steele.

Lots of money unaccounted for.

The Dossier content came from CNN online user comments?

This should be in Breaking News. This is a big deal.

John McCain was always a narcissist. His legacy was everything to him. Trump is a direct threat to that legacy.

John McCain also used Sarah Palin. He certainly wanted Obama to win, but he didn’t want to get throttled. Outside of the 2008 election, he had no use for her until his Senate seat was up. Once he got her endorsement, he threw her back into the trash.

What’s hilarious is that the Democrats clearly used the man. He was certainly cognizant of this fact, but in his feeble mind, it helped him with his legacy. What’s funny is that, should justice prevail, he’s going to have one hell of a legacy ... Just not the kind he, his tubby daughter, or his scummy wife would want.

#32: "So what was behind his hatred of Sarah Palin?

Pure jealousy. People were coming out to see her, and hear her. She was the "buzz". She was better looking and smarter than McQueeg. Without Sarah, McCain couldn't draw a crowd.

2019, McCain is dead; Sarah Palin lives.
