Author Joyce Carol Oates took inspiration from Flowers’ comments, lauding her as “astonishing/courageous.” Actress Sarah Silverman hailed her as a “hero,” saying that her “face should be on money.”

Its not just that the Left wants to take away our guns. To them, we have no right to defend ourselves where we have a lawful right to be. Period.
No wonder she’s opposed to people being able to stand their ground in the face of danger.
And that to her fellow liberals it made sense said a lot more about them than it did about their not getting the basic principle of self-defense right.
Screw fhem. Wherever I have a lawful right to be, I don’t need or want their permission to defend my life. Period.

When someone is in the act of attempting to or causing physical harm or death, the standard ought to be “I was in fear of my life”
whether you move two feet or run into 0 yards doesn’t serve you well as you are not in a position to defend yourself or loved ones.
If you require Sen. Flowers’ permission to live, you don’t deserve to live in the first place.
Your right of self-defense is inalienable. Doesn’t get any clearer.
Flowers didn’t care about guns, she only wanted to hear herself cuss like a sailor.
