Missouri bill calls for an AR-15 in every home while N.C. county becomes latest ‘gun sanctuary’

Conservatives are continuing to push back against Leftist Democrat attempts around the country and in Washington to impose new gun control legislation.

In North Carolina, Cherokee County has become the latest jurisdiction to take a page from the illegal alien sanctuary movement and declare itself a “gun sanctuary.”

The county becomes at least the 60th around the country where local governments have voiced opposition to encroaching gun control laws by stating they won’t actively enforce federal gun laws if they are in conflict with their definition of the Second Amendment’s “infringement” clause.

The Cherokee County Board voted 3-2 in favor of the resolution.

We need to be more merciful, more caring:

We need a Ma Deuce amendment on that thing, maybe M-249.

It seems as though more and more people recognize that gun laws and police don’t protect people from criminals and the criminally insane. After each one of these news grabbing unfortunate events I wonder how many people, both living and dead had the thought, “If only I had a gun.”

While I have a heavy disdain for sanctuary cities, I suppose it’s only fair there are sanctuary counties that protect gun rights.

I was playing with my son's AR-15 a couple of weeks ago. Interesting tool.

I think it may be less effective in defense of home, in most cases, than a hand gun.

Firearms are not to be played with.

That depends on your definition of "play."

Time for the hypocrites to complain about the gun sanctuaries as a violation of federal law. Federal law can be ignored only when it comes to immigration, since not to do so is racist and xenophobic.

“...how many people..had the thought, ‘if only I had a gun?’”

I’m a 110 lb. woman & I had that exact thought while I was curled in fetal position on the sidewalk in a Democrat-ruled city, being kicked & beaten bloody by an “unarmed teen.” Haven’t ever walked anywhere unarmed since then. F-k their violence-enabling gun-control laws.

Must it be an AR-15 or will another semiautomatic do?

I am thinking it is time for me to build another AR.

Spikes tactical has some humor in their products. I built a “zombie” AR from a stripped lower ( with a Zombie pic on the receiver and safety labeled ‘Live’ [safety on], ‘Dead’ [safety off] and ‘Undead’ [ for the position of select fully automatic if so equiped], and am considering getting a “Honeybadger” for my next one.

It really must.

For the principle of it.
