Actually, I viewed it as him being compliant and not resisting. Like, when he was ‘rolled over’ by the policeman, he just went with the roll and laid there limp afterwards. That wasn’t a “dead body movement”, but a live body, not resisting and ‘going with it’.
He did say before this shooting happened that he wanted to surrender and tell his story afterwards, which goes along with him firing his public defender, when he was assigned to him, and saying that he is going to represent himself. He’s going to “put on his case” ... but I don’t think the court will allow him to do that.
