I am not worried about Beto, Trump would destroy him if he were the nominee (which I dont think he will be) But ... I do think he might be the VP nominee and would drive up turnout in Texas. Not enough to flip the presidential race, but enough to cause some seats to flip or stay flipped like he did before.
But having said that.. I do think he strength in Texas is overrated due to running against Cruz who conservatives were still mad at because of the things he die during the presidential race.
Of course he has demonstrated the ability to raise money. (Didn’t he marry into a billionaire family?)
But this “we raised so much on our first day” stuff is bogus, since they spend months in advance lining up that “first day” donation.
I’m telling you he will be a formidable opponent! Dangerous when you have the mediapukes, RINOS etc etc...who would have had 4 yrs to plan and scheme to deny trump a second term! I still say president Trump will have an uphill battle to win a second half! I’m just calling it as I see it! I see VETO BETO/sanders ticket! This is so FISHY! He refused to disclose the amount he received originally and people were speculating that he didn’t have any support, now SUDDENLY he raised this huge amount in the first day. It must have come from his BILLIONAIRE father in law for propaganda purposes. I am sure that there is a quid pro quo there...
Raising all this money is a good thing for him. What he doesn’t end up spending on his destined-to-fail campaign he can use to get the mental health treatments he so desperately and obviously needs.
