We have to keep trying until we get it right. It wouldn’t turn out the same next time. We are ripe.

I do not think the states will lose this time. They have the lsrgest army in the world....gunowners....and with Trump in or out of power. Most of the Federal military and police on their side.

@PIF

We still believe in the tenth Amendment. Maybe it’s a hopeless belief, but there are legal standings, provided the Supremes agree. First call Obama, and ask him politely not to interfere in this action.

except this isn't exactly overruling the FedGov - it's simply enforcing the ultimate FedGov law, the Constitution. It'll be interesting in the courts, since it's a State forcing Federal laws to fight the Constitution:

All federal acts, laws, executive orders, administrative orders, court orders, rules, and regulations, whether past, present, or future, which infringe on the people’s right to keep and bear arms as guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the United States I and Section 23 of the Missouri Constitution shall be invalid in this state,

The question will be whether gun laws should be a matter for local government.

Gun laws certainly are not the same as immigration laws, which definitely are the responsibility of the federal government.

Did the civil war overturn Article 1 Section 8? Or the 9th and 10th amendments? Please share.
