When they passed a low to enforce federal statutes on immigration, Obama sued them; how long do you suppose they'll tolerate a state law attempting to invalidate a federal one?
Someone will have to explain in court why states, cities, and areas can choose to ignore immigration laws and not cooperate with ICE and other government agencies.
That will be interesting.

Recall slavery used to be law of the land, and that was “over-turned”.
Yes but this law will have the Constitution supporting it. “Shall not be infringed” is clearly written in the Second Amendment AND ALL powers not specifically designated to the Federal government by the Constitution reside with the States.
