Like it did in Finland in 1918, whem Finland's Socialist government announced that Finland was going to join with the new Russian Soviet Government by treaty, and there was nothing the Finnish people could do about it.
Actually, there WAS one thing the Finns could do, and they did it. Took 'em about four months.

At some point, Trump should get around to cleaning up the “Five Eyes.” Let’s hope no Americans are involved in gun confiscations in NZ.
Without traitorous help from the US, does NZ even have the forces to go rounding up guns?
Not really relatedly, TCM showed The China Syndrome last night. It was cool to see the “swat” team holding some vintage-looking ARs. Their van looked much more like a UPS truck than a Humvee.
I hope the US military gets its M16 replacements picked out soon. Then, ARs will be seen as the old technology they actually are.
