I was unable due to illness to attend the reception on Capitol Hill for Derrick advertised above; but t was my pleasure and honor to go with another freeper / American Legion volunteer to see Derrick at the home of his Mom and StepDad on his birthday in July. He is a wonderful guy, and I couldn’t be happier for his great new job, described in the link above!
