House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) said at a press conference in New York City on Wednesday that President Donald Trump is “in defiance of the Constitution” with his move to declare a national emergency in order to fund construction of a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border.
Pelosi indicated that the House will vote on March 26 to try to override Trump’s veto of the resolution that Congress passed last week disapproving of the president’s national emergency declaration. Pelosi conceded that the House probably did not have the votes to override Trump’s veto but that the vote would demonstrate where Congress stands on the issue as it heads into the courts.
“We established March 26th as the date we would vote to override the president’s veto,” Pelosi said.

Both they and, to a lesser extent, the GOP have stood for a plastic constitution for decades, when the original rationale was to fix “unconscionable” situations but now it has become to pander to whatever the popular rage is.
God help us out of this jam. There are laws we have that we don’t need, and other laws we don’t have that we do need. We’ll never get machine-like justice.
So anyhow, it seems apropos to respond sarcastically to Pelosi in the vein of “What constitution? The one your party has striven mightily to edit into place without explicit amendments?”
She and they know nothing about the constitution accept spewing the word constitution when its necessary

I’ve been trying to figure out what the benefit/value of American citizenship is. If one is a tax payer and not a tax consumer, what benefit does one accrue? A California state attorney is an illegal. The dems are proposing letting them vote in “local” elections (wink wink). They are counted in the census, to determine representation, while they are given free passes out of jail for DUI, murder, rape...
Any thoughts on a privilege of citizenship that has not been perveted by the dems and courts?
