Yaelle, there are no little girls in strip-mall massage parlors.
Underage sex slavery is one thing we’re NOT tackling.
(And, if it’s not in the US, should we be?)
The U.N. has been the world leader in:
1. Convincing US taxpayers to support it’s efforts to combat underage sex trafficking,
and
2. Soliciting underage girls for sex all over the world.
Hell, one day, will be filled with UN employees and pansy aped “soldiers.” I’ve seen them.
This is NOT what is going on at the local strip mall in TX where for an extra twenty bucks the Chinese (?) lady might touch a man’s genitals.
This is our government using an important issue - one you care about - to attack political opponents.
I know you pretty well Yaelle from your posts. I know you are worldly and wise, and that you’ve seen some things.
I could tell you some nightmare stories about things I saw - what the Bedouins do, for instance - and the abuse of actual girls.
This is NOT that.
These women are in the same trade as the illegal dishwasher at the chain restaurant across the street...
Just here to make some cash.
And their bosses are every bit as cruel as the coyotes...
And American Citizens should not be spied on like Soviets.
Instead, deport the illegals.
Let’s remember who we are.

You cannot think Jeffrey Epstein is the only one who brought underaged girls in for sex slavery. There have to be others.

Girls are taken from Central American families all the time and kept against their will here for services to factory and farm working guys.

But you are correct: this particular sting was against sex slavery and not child slavery. Yes, there are Asian and Latina sex workers who do not have freedom and are mistreated in illegal ways.

I get that government comes down on issues using sob stories (vaccination, etc) and I don’t want my sensitivities to cloud my judgment here, but I do feel that every intelligent male who uses sex workers should be aware that some are not free to say no. Sex slavery is rape. Prostitution is not. There is a difference, and my point was to say this.

This billionaire was not busted because he used a prostitute. I could not care less. He was busted because he used a cheap hole in the wall and didn’t do any diligence to find out if the workers were voluntary or trapped there in slavery.

There is a difference and everyone should find out if possible. With his money, he had no excuse not to use a happy, healthy, discreet hooker.
