In the early 90s a company I worked for had an office in Building One of the Towers and had three leased spaces {which I never used}. I stayed at the Sofitel which was then at 57th and 7th and either used a car service or the subway, because driving in Manhattan, even 25 years ago caused insanity, I can't imagine what it's like today.

Well Sunday is actually not that bad still.

But Saturday? Sorry Mr. President but I can’t drive into that nightmare and not physically up to making the trip by public transportation!!

I’m not much of a rally person. But I’ve always been kind of a loner, even in my younger days.

I did volunteer last time for my fellow NYer who worked down the block from me :).

And I likely will again.
