Apology accepted. The Jewish vote will remain firmly in the DEM column.
Unfortunately you are correct.

A nice gesture. It's not on him to apologize for Omar, she can and has done that herself. Several times, followed by more antisemitic tropes. The Democrat party. Well, he's a freshman, but it is to his credit for doing what party leaders wouldn't think of. Condemning antisemitism, specifically. Actual actions. Not is a porridge of a bill that even the offending antisemite is willing to vote for.
Stupid Jew.
Your n00b Congressman ? His constituents should promptly return this seat to the GOP next year.
“Stupid Jew’’. Actually a self-loathing one.
It’s the russians and albanians and asians that have moved to here and the brooklyn part.
or cheating.
or both
He should apologize to his constituents for that!
Well, all better then.
I hate to say this, but if people are stupid enough to fall for this...etc, etc.
I thought the Russkies and Albanians left their Communist voting habits behind ?
As a young congressman, Ive got to tell you Im sorry,
“But whatever you do please keep voting denocrat.”
They vote D.
Don’t let them fool you.
They LOVE free stuff too.
And Asians just think they have something in common with blacks and hispanics
The American Jewish would vote in (fill in the blank) if he/she were Democrat.
Both remarks are true.
Price of free stuff is your soul. Still think it’s free ?
And note the SS death’s head insignia on the cap (under the Nazi eagle, for those in Rio Linda), heh...
There will be some erosion. It is inevitable. Too many prominent Jewish voices out there condemning her speech and the really absurd handling of it by the Dems. I know some people wanted them to call her out by name, but they could have compromised by just condemning the words she spoke. Instead they just caved entirely.
If Omar is not primaried in 2020 some support will fade. And the more left the Dems go the more it will fade. Jewish affinity for Dems goes back to the New Deal era and social justice. And Jewish tradition includes the acceptance of vigorous open debate (the old joke, find me 2 Jews and I’ll get you 4 opinions). When they see strife and division and suppression of ideas in the name of social justice, a number of them will sit out.
I don’t know if he is stupid. His party left him out there to twist in the wind. The party system sucks. As a freshman, he can’t really speak out against his leadership. He is going to need their support to rise in the party. He’s stuck in a bad spot.
