As Giuliana just said, prosecutors do not exonerate anyone. It’s not what they do.

Prosecutors present evidence to convict. The defense argues against, and presents evidence that mitigates, and or refutes that presented by the prosecution. It is then the role of a jury (if a jury trial) or a judge otherwise to find guilty, not guilty (exonerate) or some other outcome e.g mistrial.

As National “news” on my local radio station told me a few hours ago, “Trump was NOT exonerated.”

That will be tomorrow’s headline and buzzwords.
