I never considered “Russia”/collusion/impeachment a realistic possibility. The story was on its face absurd,m and only fools believed in it. Sadly, nearly half of our adult population is composed of fools.
Yep. The meta narrative in all this is that a sizable portion of the voting population will not accept the legitimacy of a loss and feel perfectly justified in exerting their political will by whatever means necessary up to and including physical violence. If that doesn't have a cost it will grow until it drowns us all.
