Majority say they're open to re-electing Trump

A majority of registered voters in a new poll say they would consider voting President Trump into a second term.

Fifty-four percent in the Hill-HarrisX survey released Monday said they would think about voting for Trump, though 46 percent of registered voters said they would not even consider casting a ballot for the president.

The polling was conducted before a summary of special counsel Robert Mueller's conclusions were released. That summary reported that Mueller did not find evidence of collusion between Trump's campaign and Russia, a huge win for the president.

People who said they backed Trump in 2016 are likely to back him again.

Ninety-five percent of respondents who said they had picked Trump in his first run for office said they would vote for him again in 2020.

The vast majority of respondents who cast ballots for Trump's former Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, said they would not vote to re-elect him, though a somewhat sizable minority is at least open to the idea.

I hope he and schiff and mad max and others keep their hatred front and center. It helps so much.

...Ninety-five percent of respondents who said they had picked Trump in his first run for office said they would vote for him again in 2020..

That’s a HUGE number.

I thought 1,348 percent of ALL Americans hated him more than broccoli?

Oddly, the prediction models released last week based on economic data were predicting a 54-46 Trump win.

If the country had the demographics it did 30 years ago, Trump would win re-election in a landslide.

When the polls are bad, we are always told that a poll of registered voters doesn't mean a thing, you need to look at likely voters.

However, I think in this case it does mean a lot!

I am a Trump supporter. I thought when he became President he would change and stay above the fray. Well, he didn’t change. Regardless, I like the fact that Trump can’t be bought. Very rare in a politician. The best factor working for Trump is that he is on our side. Many politicians, including Obama, come across as foreigners, willing to sell the USA out. Eventually another weakling will become President and illegals will pour in like grasshoppers on a crop, “fundamentally changing America”. I do hope we get at least four more years before this happens.

In virtually every poll conducted in the past 20 years, there is a block of about 45% that will never, ever consider voting for ANY Republican. It matters not which one, only that there is an 'R' by their name. That is what we face in every election.
