The liberal media was fully invested in the hoax, and they even contributed to the hoax, by making sure that they got the leaks and provided the leaks to the people, where those leaks were meant to provide and add more fodder to investigators. The media were co-conspirators, and the media helped to fabricate the charges, with the DNC and the Hillary campaign doing the recruiting of the media.

I have been flipping through cnn and msnbc. They re still trying to prove collusion. I don’t see them giving up on any of it.

I think a huge number of them believed it, even while they were often knowingly lying about some aspect of it to keep the fever going. But they thought that in the end, there would be something found, and anything that was found to be BS later wouldn't matter.
