And we would believe Euro fake news..why?

Trump just gained a “lot more flexibility” in his position vs. NK. Who’d want to deal with a guy who is under investigation for potential crimes? No more.

Sounds to me like Trump and Pompeo/Bolton were playing a little good cop. - bad cop with Kim. Angling for a better counter offer?

I had understood that Bolton sabotaged any deal with NK, but I don’t have a link. I don’t have much use for Bolton.

DPRK's prime strategy is to isolate, wedge, freeze frame and ATTACK Pompeo and Bolton. It is the craziest thing. They are pulling Saul Alinsky tactics here. Their hope was to rope a dope the President one-on-one, get him on his own and have him issue some concessions on the fly, and cause a fissure between him and Mike and John, since the latter two provided great satellite and remote sensing intel which POTUS apparantly handed fat bastard in Hanoi in a yellow envelope, made their feces turn white on the spot as they had been busted. They are very, very angry over this and are seeking to demonize his top two guys, and then engage in flattery of Trump. We would be fools to not see it as it is, and just ignore their foolishness and big mouths as usual; show them a united front in our foreign policy establishment. The odd and confusing tweet last week on sanctions did NOT help, though.

News reports at the time did not mention Choe saying Trump had been flexible about easing sanctions on North Korea provided there was a ‘snapback’ clause. There was no explanation for the apparent omission.
