I honestly thought the deep state was FAR more powerful than it is.
I NEVER thought they would let Trump win the election.
I figured there was SOME way to screw with the results, and i’m not talking voter fraud. I figured they could somehow control the outcome.
Then a 2 plus year coup fails utterly and completely?
Maybe they got too arrogant. FBI agents texting each other about how much they hate Trump. obama setting up a war room in his new house, first thing.
Hillary not caring about ANY laws.
Comey is kind of dumb.
Heck, Sessions did worse damage than any deep state or dem operative by letting this thing even start.

It’s important to remember that, while the deep state is powerful (enough to start wars, play with economies, frame enemies, and so forth), they are ultimately still human. They have weaknesses, their own internal disagreements/divisions, and can be defeated (if not for all time, then battle by battle).
My first question is what does this cover up which cannot be revealed? Something worse than an attempted coup?
Overestimating the power of the Goebbelsmedia was the big mistake. It reasonably figured that an all-out blitzkrieg would drive Trump out via resignation. That would have probably worked for any other Repubican. Other side underestimated the power of the alternatives to CNN/MSSNBC/NYT/WP when they are going batshiite crazy and frothing with Trumpobia.
