It’s bad info perhaps when reporting what you’ve heard. It’s personal lying when mis-describing what you are seeing.
I believe he did receive “bad information.” The pronouncements of Brennan and others just before the release of the Report would suggest strongly that they got a leak to the effect that the Report really would accuse Trump of something traitorous. They got trolled.

All blame rests on his incompetent underlings, the rank and file of the CIA./s

He is a counter intelligence operator, whos job was to create disinformation, and he did, Knowingly.
Knowingly he lied, knowingly he tried to manipulate issues to cause Trump harm, knowingly he ignored or twisted the information he was provided to attack a sitting president, President Trump.
He is a traitor, and should be arrested as such.
Brennan’s excuse seems to be that he was too stupid to recognize bad information when it was dropped on him like a rancid side of beef.
He always knew the truth and was key in peddling the LIES..
The only thing in doubt was the effectiveness of this lie in placing Trump in legal trouble.
The only "bad info" he was susceptible to was the interpretation of legal status of the case.
