Telling the Truth About Andrew Yang is Hate Speech on Facebook.
American Thinker ^ | 26 March, 2019 | Colin Flaherty

Posted on 03/26/2019 5:55:02 PM PDT by marktwain

It could have been the fact that Yang, a dark-horse contender for the Democrat presidential nomination, gave a speech at Harvard where he predicted that within ten years, roving gangs of Caucasian youths would be roaming the streets of America, attacking Asian people because white people were jealous of their professional success.

That is, after all, what white people do all the time to black people right now. Right?

Let’s hear it straight from the same mouth that wants to give every American $1000 a month:

Who is going to be the boogie man of the next 10 to 20 years? Who is going to be the next great rival in the eyes of American society? China.

And so what do you think the attitude is going to be over time for the shrinking, insecure white majority that is losing their jobs for Chinese Americans or Asian Americans?

Personally, I said to a group at Harvard, we are one generation away from falling into the same camps as the Jews, who were attacked in the synagogue in Pittsburgh.

We are probably just one generation away from Americans shooting up a bunch of Asians because there’s a giant cold war with China.

That is the great danger I fear my children are going to grow up in.

Yes, its on video. No, I would not expect anyone to believe this unless they actually heard Yang say it. So here it is.

To be fair, less than hate speech, Yang’s comments are just good old-fashioned stupid speech.

I thought maybe there was one Democrat who wasn’t a race baiter.

Guess not.

Andrew Yang.

Could be nothing, just a flash in the pan.

Could be dangerous if he lasts.

Blacks, Hispanics and white Liberals are the ones envious of the academic success of Asian Americans. Quotas are aimed at reducing admissions of qualified Asian applicants. It was only in the past two weeks that AOC and DiBlasio were attacking Stuyvesant High School for its lack of “diversity”, ie it’s high percentage of Asian students.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a white-on-Asian hate crime in America. Ever. I can’t think of one, can anyone else?

I got kicked off Facebook for violating “community standards” — didn’t bother to go back there.

Can’t really tell if this was a “hate” crime or just a run-of-the-mill alcohol-fueled murder.

Much further back, there were a number of other major incidents:

I have stopped talking about politics on FACEBOOK because I realized it is none of their business what we think. When I was growing up people usually kept it private who they voted for. They were protective of their privacy. As if they knew that the right to vote could be threatened if you gave up your rights to privacy. People thought it was dangerous to tell just anyone how you voted. People were aware that protecting their voting rights was an important thing to do. And they were right. Who are these big brother people watching everything we say and Do? We certainly be making their job easier.

So, three massacres from the 1800s and that one in 1985.

Not exactly a trend, though, if we've gone 130 years with only one murder.

The fact that people have to keep on going back to the same well suggests that current day white on *anyone else* racial attacks are not particularly common. I’ll qualify this by saying that there is plenty I don’t know about these things, given that I spent all of 30 seconds looking them up. The Vincent Chin case I heard of way back when because the murder involved no prison time and a judge who appeared to be prejudiced against Orientals because of his time in Japanese POW camps. The very fact the judge kept his job suggests that this prejudice wasn’t restricted to him. Today, he’d probably have been forcibly retired. The hate crimes laws we have today are probably an over-reaction to the kinds of slaps on the wrist that were administered in both the Vincent Chin and 19th century cases.

That’s been part of my tagline for quite a while now: TRUTH is the new HATE SPEECH.
