I’m one of the people who will pay the 2.1% higher gas tax. Although I am not happy about that I don’t see much choice at this point. There needs to be a third lane without trucks in each direction.

A better use for those tax dollars is to deport all illegals and visa over stayers. Less of them would mean less traffic and no need to continually increase infrastructure and taxes.
