My Brother in law seems to be the NAPA autoparts mini empire business emperor in little towns all across the Mowhawk valley including some in your neck of the woods.

My local NAPA store is awesome.
They have a couple old counter guys who actually used to be mechanics.
Way more knowledgeable than the min wage drones at the other chain parts stores.

Wouldn't surprise me if he hasn't supplied parts for my car when I've had it in the garage I go to in Utica. I've seen NAPA cars frequently, and even some at the garage. I use Maugeri's on Albany Street. Will be heading there in a couple of weeks to get my car inspected. Last time I was there, they told me that actor Adrian Brody had filmed a scene inside the garage for an as-yet unnamed movie. They showed me some photos they'd taken at the time. The movie crew also did some filming in Utica itself. Hadn't known until that time, that Brody had previously bought, and renovated Stone Barn Castle, which sits in a wooded area, somewhere near Cleveland, NY.
