This is the way they are going to have to spin it. What is really happening is that the whole “lock her up” thing simply HAD TO BE put on hold until the investigation was done.
We are a country of laws, not men. Justice requires, now that the administrations hands are no longer tied, that all of these sleeping scandals and alleged nefarious behavior be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law - if only to restore the public’s faith in the law and the government.
This is not about getting even. It is about justice being served. It’s about demonstrating that the laws apply to all of us equally.
As I watched that speech last night I imagined there were a lot of butts puckering in MSM newsrooms across the fruited plain.
Its not “his enemies”. They tried to subvert the will of the people and weaponized federal agencies against a president. The are enemies of the country.

That is exactly what they are doing. They desperately want to link Trump with Nixon’s Watergate saga. However, invoking Watergate is like comparing J walking to a bank robbery. The conspiracy against Trump is without a doubt the biggest political crime in the history of this nation. Watergate is a mere footnote.
