Vaccinations contribute to “the immunity of the herd”, the herd being us and our children. Anti-vaxxer’s make a lot of fallacious arguments over why vaccines cause more harm than good. I grew up during the polio epidemics in the 1950’s and thought that anything that would keep me out of an iron lung was a good thing.
All that being said, there is no situation that can’t be made worse or more dangerous than by getting today’s overbearing SWATcops involved. I place a lot of the blame the stupid naturopath that the stupid mother took her kid to in the first place.

Herd immunity is a belief, but I’ve yet to see conclusive studies that document this belief.
If vaccines are so wonderful, then vaccinated children have nothing to worry about.
Beyond that, life always has risks... and there is a greater chance of your kid getting injured in a car accident than getting killed by measles.

Every time I had a flu vaccine in the military I inevitably ended up with a raging fever and at sick call with 3-4 days. Every time. So where was the benefit? Since then, no flu vaccines, and no problems.
The issue with the vacc vs. anti-vacc. argument, is the credibility of the studies and who to believe. On both sides.
But to use SWAT to kick in the doors in this instance without no direct evidence is ridiculous, and dangerous.

The problem underlying the “immunity of the herd” argument is that we are not a herd, we are free people, not possessions of the state.
Benjamin Franklin once said: “Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”
In your case you are arguing that others should give up their freedoms for your liberties, a clearly leftist mantra.
In reality vaccination given to one slave does not confir immunity to other slaves, your premise is faulty to begin with.
If you add in the very real danger of the militarized medical crony capitalism and fascism you are putting euthanasia in the hands of the proponents of the “Green new deal”, a danger as likely to kill more people than the black death.
What is more of a danger to you in reality? A childhood disease or an overzealous gestapo agent with a machine gun trying to “cure” rebellion?

When one of us children got something like measles the others were kept home to experience it so it would be gotten out of the way!
I am not sure kids actually see any pictures in their so-called Social Studies books of children in Iron Lungs.
They scared the poop out of me. And I was lucky enough to have been brought into this world after the vaccine was discovered/created.
