President Trump on Saturday announced that Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher, who is accused of war crimes in Iraq, will be moved to ‘less restrictive confinement’ -- apparently in response to a push by Republican lawmakers advocating for Gallagher.
“In honor of his past service to our Country, Navy Seal #EddieGallagher will soon be moved to less restrictive confinement while he awaits his day in court. Process should move quickly!” Trump tweeted.
Gallagher is facing premeditated murder and aggravated assault charges stemming from the alleged killing of an injured ISIS prisoner and alleged instances of him intentionally firing sniper rounds at civilians.
He has spent six months of detention at Naval Consolidated Brig Miramar in California. He is not expected to emerge until the start of his war crimes trial on May 28.

My understanding of this case is that Gallagher was part of an interrogation unit; when they finished, for some reason they had to let him go; “supposedly” Gallagher followed him and shot him once he departed from the perimeter. True or not this is the story I heard. If that is the case, not too sure i care if Gallagher offed the useless POS or not.
Hannity has had the brother on numerous times. Gallagher was going to write up some wet behind the ears naval academy grads for cause, and they decided to beat him to it.

Now I remember about that part. They gave him a major screwing over an idiot’s screw-up. Hope like hell the truth comes out in his case, otherwise he will be doing major time.

Harming ISIS members while not following rules of engagement is VERY rude. It deserves a stiff fine of $1 per incident as a stern warning to others who might be tempted to practice such poor manners. Wish I was on the jury; I’d make sure he learned his lesson.
